Note: Candidates for the Harnett County Soil & Water Commission will be on the ballot. This is a non-partisan position, so candidates are not listed by Party. However, FYI they are John Hairr (R), Larry Baker (UNA), & Jeff Turlington (D). Voters will choose two of the three candidates.
The Soil and Water Conservation District operations are directed by a Board of five Members, of which three are Elected Officials; and two are appointed by the North Carolina Soil and Water Conservation Commission. All positions on the District Board are non-partisan.
