County Chair's Letter: The Board of Elections

Greetings to all Patriots, 

As you know, our Harnett County Board of Elections has decided to no longer say the Pledge of Allegiance nor a prayer at the beginning of their meetings. Below is a single excerpt from the Congressional Record that stated 45 Current Communist Goals, which was based upon the book The Naked Communist: Exposing Communism and Restoring Freedom by Cleon Skousen: 

"Extension of remarks of Hon. A.S. Herlong, Jr. of Florida, House of Representatives, Thursday, January 10, 1963 

1. Do away with all loyalty oaths."

The entire purpose of Psychological Operations is to destroy a nation without firing a shot. This idea is not new, as is evident in Sun Tzu’s The Art of War and convinces us not to believe what we see and hear.

So why is this the Pledge of Allegiance a big deal? Because it is a loyalty oath to the United States of America. It is 31 words that instill love of country and patriotism. In 1892, according to some accounts of Francis Bellamy as author, he decided to write a pledge of allegiance, rather than a salute, because it was a stronger expression of loyalty — something particularly significant even 27 years after the Civil War ended. “One Nation indivisible” referred to the outcome of the Civil War, and “Liberty and Justice for all” expressed the ideals of the Declaration of Independence. 

The version we are all familiar with was not finalized until Flag Day 1954, when Congress passed a law adding the words “under God” after “one Nation”. The Pledge of Allegiance is so important that the Flag Code specifies future changes would have to be with the consent of the President!

Please take a moment to read the full record in the link above and see all 45 goals that are listed. Let us all look at the position our country is in and the rhetoric that is being pushed by the Democratic Party. We must begin defending our Nation from these dangers that have slid under the radar and been allowed to fester. A small bit in a horse’s mouth can steer the mighty beast just as easily as unchecked, dangerous ideas. 

Thank you to everyone that has been diligently attending the HC Board of Elections meetings and pushing for the Pledge of Allegiance to be reinstated! Let us continue to press this issue and let it be known that in Harnett County, we embrace God, we love our Country, and we will not give that away!
