19th Amendment Ratified This Day in 1920

In 1878, a Republican Senator from California, Aaron Sargent, introduced legislature which would later on become a ratified amendment. 

On this day, in 1920, the 19th Amendment was ratified giving our mothers, wives and daughters the right to vote.
